Jakarta Planetarium and Observatory is one of the three
rides other than the simulated sky in Indonesia in Kutai, East Kalimantan, and
Surabaya, East Java. The oldest planetarium is located at Taman Ismail Marzuki,
Jakarta. Jakarta Planetarium is an educational tourist facility that can
provide the performance/demonstration or simulation astronomy celestial objects.
Visitors are invited to wander the universe to understand the conception of the
universe through the event-by-event.
Maybe at times like this that visited this place only among children aged from 3 to 13 years. And adolescents had almost forgotten where educational tours like this and chose to go to a big mall. There is no harm if we the youth to visit the planetarium, because the place was very nice and made us gain insight about the solar system.
Jakarta Planetarium established in 1964 President Sukarno
initiated and submitted to the Government of Jakarta in 1969. Also available in
the exhibit hall celestial objects that serve a variety of photos and a full
description of the various forms of galaxies, galaxy formation theories with
the introduction of the figures behind the rise of the theory.
In the exhibition hall, there is also a display space used
clothes the skies, including landing on the moon. Some other equipment for
space observations also exhibited.
In addition to theater performances and multimedia
star/double image, Jakarta Planetarium & Observatory also provides
infrastructure observations of celestial objects through direct observation, to
witness the phenomenon/other natural events, such as lunar eclipses, solar
eclipses, comets and other.
